Africa Shipping Double Clearance

The warehouse is located in Guangzhou, all goods to Africa are first delivered to the Guangzhou warehouse (we have different warehouses in Guangzhou for sea, air, and other modes of transport), and then loaded into containers. For containers from Guangdong to Africa, we mainly start from Huangpu, Guangzhou, in order to save time in the transportation process and facilitate smooth customs clearance.

African air cargo double clearances

We mainly ship from Guangzhou and Hong Kong. For general goods, we take off from Guangzhou, and other more special goods from Hong Kong. The cost of shipping from Hong Kong is higher, and the time will be increased1-2 days.

North African maritimeThe basic ports are: Algiers, Oran, Casablanca, Tripoli, Alexandria.

The main shipping companies for the shipping route from Shenzhen to North Africa are:CMA, MSK, MSC, SAF, CSCL, NDS, etc.

CMA is a shipping company with a large market share in the North African maritime route, belonging to the French shipping company. Most of North Africa used to be French colonies, so CMA has an advantage in customs clearance; the port congestion in North Africa is very serious, and it usually takes five or six days for the ship to dock after arrival, CMA uses roll-on/roll-off ships to connect, and it can dock on the same day, which can be distributed on time; CMA's maritime price is relatively high, and the service is also relatively good, accounting for about 50% of the North African market share, and the customers in Algeria are basically monopolized by CMA, and the maritime time from Guangzhou to North Africa is more.

MSK's price for the north Africa sea route is slightly lower than CMA, with moderate service. MSC is still a company with cheaper prices, average service, and longer shipping schedules. EMC's new route from Shenzhen to North Africa has general advantages. For the sea route from Shenzhen to North Africa or Guangzhou to North Africa, some shipping companies list it as a Mediterranean route.

East Africa MaritimeThe basic ports include: Mombasa, Dar es Salaam. Important secondary ports are: Port Louis, Maputo, Tete. Some shipping companies consider some of the East Africa Maritime ports as South African ports.

Vessels operating the shipping route from Shenzhen to East Africa and from Guangzhou to East Africa include:PIL, MOL, MSC, CSAV, MSK, SAF, YML, etc.

The shipping company for the Shenzhen to East Africa route is PIL Pacific International Logistics, which was established by the Singapore company in 1967 and is currently one of the famous shipping companies in Asia. Its strength is the East African sea transport, with good service and low prices, and it can clear customs in advance at all ports in East Africa, and it can also accept heavy containers.

MOL is also one of the earlier shipping companies to enter the African route, the shipping schedule in the peak season is relatively stable, and the obvious advantage is in the Indian Ocean Islands route. MSC, CSAV, YML do a good job as the basic ports for East Africa shipping. MSK, CMA do a reasonable job for Guangzhou to East Africa shipping.

South Africa ShippingThe basic ports are: Durban, Cape Town, Elizabeth Harbour. Common inland points: Johannesburg, Harare, Lusaka.

Vessels on the Guangzhou to South Africa and Shenzhen to South Africa shipping routes include:MOL, MSK, PIL, CMA, PIL, COSCO, CSAV, SAF, CSCL, NDS, Hamburg Sud, etc.

South Africa's shipping advantage is SAF South Africa Shipping, established in 1946, acquired by MSK in 1999, but continues to operate independently; SAF is also involved in global routes such as Europe, the United States, the Middle East, etc., and South Africa's shipping routes are relatively powerful. MSK's shipping routes from Shenzhen to South Africa and from Guangzhou to South Africa are co-warehoused with SAF. When MOL does South Africa shipping, the destination port of the route is the east coast of South America, stopping in South Africa, and it also transits through South Africa's Durban and other places to South Africa's inland points and Zimbabwe, etc. NDS adopts the shipping routes of South Africa, South America, and West Africa for the service of several ports.

West Africa ShippingThe basic ports of the route are: Cotonou, Lomé, Tém, Lagos, Abidjan. Important secondary ports are: Douala, Libreville, Luanda, Cap-Vert.

Voyage companies from Shenzhen to West Africa by sea includeMSK, DELMAS, CMA, MSC, NDS, NYK, KLINE, CSCL, COSCO, ZIM, PIL, etc. Most of these shipping companies also have voyages from Guangzhou to West Africa.

West Africa sea freight has advantages of courseMSK, with a long history, most of the local customers in Africa指定MSK for FOB goods, and the local customs clearance service is very good. In addition to the basic ports of West Africa sea freight, the service of transiting to inland cities is also very excellent. CMA is also one of the older shipowners in West Africa sea freight, with strong professionalism, stable shipping schedule, and the price is lower than MSK. MSC's shipping schedule is longer, and the service is very general, but the price is relatively low, so it is still very popular. NDS mainly focuses on the off-coast of West Africa sea freight, especially in Luanda, the customs clearance capacity is very strong, and the charges are low. DELMAS is currently the only shipping company specializing in the African sea freight route, with strong customs clearance capacity, and the containers can be quickly scattered and distributed after arrival in Angola. In the entire African sea freight route, there are many shipping companies in West Africa sea freight, not listed one by one.

Guangzhou to West Africa sea route and Shenzhen to West Africa sea route, different countries have different names, such as Benin-BESC certification; Cameroon, Congo B - ECTN certification; Congo D - F.E.R.I certification; Cote d'Ivoire - BSC certification; Guinea, Mali, Central Africa - CTN NO. certification. To Angola, CNCA shipping certificate is required, and the shipper must obtain the CNCA number before shipment.
